Game Rules for The Phantoms Last Supper

 

  1. Begin and End – The game will begin on Wednesday March 5th at 7AM MST when the storyline and characters are introduced. at 8AM MST the same day, the first clue will drop and more storyline introduced. Clues will then follow the schedule listed in Rule 3 below.
  2. No Early Accusations – Players cannot submit their answer (the identity of the murderer) until the final clue has been released. Submissions before this point will be ignored.

  3. Three Clues Per Day – Clues will be provided each morning (8AM MST), noon (12PM MST), and evening (5PM MST) for three days. Players must pay close attention as each clue builds upon the last.

  4. Take note of clues – Some prior clues may be removed when new ones are introduced in order to add a level of difficulty. take note of clues and your theories about them. 
  5. Clue Interaction Allowed – Players are encouraged to discuss theories, analyze clues, and debate among themselves. However, no outright guesses should be posted until the final stage.

  6. Suspect Tracking – Players should keep track of characters’ actions and alibis. Some clues may be misleading, and only the final puzzle pieces will reveal the truth.

  7. Limited Questions – Each player may ask one clarifying question per day about a clue. These should be strategic, as no direct answers about the murderer will be given.

  8. Submission Format – Once the final clue is revealed, players have one chance to submit their answer. This submission must include:

    • The Murderer’s Name
    • The Method & Motive (brief reasoning based on clues)
  9. Tiebreaker System – If multiple players submit the correct answer, the winner will be determined based on:

    • Accuracy of explanation (who provided the most thorough deduction)
    • Earliest correct submission
  10. Immersive Play Encouraged – While logical deduction is key, players are encouraged to enjoy the thematic elements, eerie storytelling, and interactions along the way.

  11. No Outside Help – Players must rely only on the provided clues and their own deduction skills—no internet searches or AI assistance!

  12. Submission of answer – when the last clue is submitted, a form will show at bottom of the contest page. On it, you will include your Email, Instagram Handle, the Murderer's Name, and the Method/Motive. Don't worry, no information will be used for marketing purposes, only to notify the winner. We would like to announce the winner on Instagram, but that will only be done with the winner's permission.
