Day 1: Morning Clue
Morning Clue (The Aftermath & First Observations)
The night had turned into chaos following the discovery of Ginevra Albrizzi’s body. Guests stumbled back from the grisly scene, eyes flickering with fear, suspicion, and—for some—a flicker of something darker. The once-elegant dinner party had dissolved into an eerie silence, broken only by the ticking of the grand hall clock.
Jack the Ripper, ever the physician, knelt by the corpse, pressing two fingers to her cold, lifeless throat. He spoke without looking up. “She’s been dead for no more than an hour. Whoever did this had little concern for subtlety.” His gaze flicked toward the bloody teddy bear, its lifeless glass eyes staring back.
Dominic muttered, half to himself, “That’s no ordinary child’s toy…”
Meanwhile, Samantha and Nicole stood near the doorway, clutching each other’s hands tightly. Their usual sultry confidence was gone, replaced by wide, unreadable eyes. “This place reeks of death,” Samantha whispered. “And not just hers.”
Clue Discovered: Blood spatter patterns suggest the killer was standing very close to Ginevra when they struck—perhaps even face-to-face. There are no signs of a struggle, no defensive wounds. Did she know her killer? A letter is found in Ginevra's private study, it's edges curled as though gripped tightly. Paul opened the letter to find the ink smudged with a few legible lines: "I know what you are... You think I don't remember, but I do. I won't let you..." and the rest was unreadable.
